ROAD TOLLS
Sweden has about 2,000 km of highways and expressways, very good quality. Travel on these roads is free. Only the bridges connecting Sweden with Denmark and Norway have to be paid for.
SPEED LIMITS
In a built-up area, the speed limit is 50 km/h. However, lower speed limits are very often in effect. The list of permitted speeds outside built-up areas is shown below.
